Hannah Chandler

My name is Hannah Chandler. I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have always loved the mountains and grew up traveling out to Colorado with my family to ski. I decided to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder where I received my degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. I loved the creative aspect of Marketing while also incorporating my strength with numbers. Soon after school, I began working at a digital marketing agency in Denver for about three years. I started off as a Coordinator and made my way up to Senior Manager. Although I loved my coworkers and the company itself, I realized that I could not be fulfilled in that specific industry. I have always had a passion for the beauty industry, specifically hair, dating back to the 5th grade when I wrote my “dream job” speech about becoming a cosmetologist. I have always had an interest in the industry but wanted to get my college degree before I pursued it. Once exploring career options, I knew it was time to make the change and I applied to Paul Mitchell. I am so happy that I made this career change. My day-to-day attitude has completely shifted after starting school. I love that I am able to make people feel so beautiful while also making them feel heard. The beauty industry is all about making people feel supported and loved from the inside out. I am definitely a people person, hard worker, quick learner and take every opportunity given to me and run with it. I love that there is so much to learn in this industry and that the learning never stops. I hope to work for a company where the main focus is education and teamwork. I am excited to continue to grow not only as a stylist but also as a person. Outside of hair, I love skiing and hiking. I spend most of my time with my family and friends. I am currently in search for a new book and a new Netflix show since “Friends” is no longer an option (so sad). I also love exploring new restaurants in Denver and heading to Red Rocks in the summer for concerts.
