Here to make your day a bit brighter by enhancing your current beauty.

Hello! My name is Hannah. I've been in cosmetology school for a little over 10 months now, but I’ve always been interested in hair, makeup and art in general ever since I was in preschool. I was always coloring, drawing and painting on everything. And I mean everything. The walls, my bed, windowsills, myself and even on others. I remember teaching myself how to braid with one of those Barbie mannequin heads, and I even tried to cut layers into my Barbies hair (very unsuccessfully I might add). But it wasn’t until I was in my early teens that I started becoming interested in the world of beauty. My hair had gone from naturally straight to curly almost over night and I had no clue what to do with it, as well as I started wanting to cover the dark circles under my eyes, so I watched hours upon hours of YouTube videos to figured it out.
My mom was always very supportive of whatever I was interested in and paid for me to take an online makeup course when I was about 16, which is what sparked my love of makeup. I then became interested in theatrical and SFX makeup as well. There really is no limit to what you can do in the cosmetology world! That's one of the major reasons why i love it. I've always wanted a job that doesn't feel like work. Something that's different every day and where I can let my creativity flow. I'm so excited to see where this carrier path takes me and I'm looking forward to all of the incredible opportunities that I have yet to discover.
I'm here because I think this is a fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity to learn and grow my skills from experienced and talented professionals. I'm always looking for opportunities to better myself, and knowing that there are so many wonderful people willing to take the time out of their lives to mentor students makes it all the more special.
There is a quote that I saw from the author H. Jackson Brown, Jr. That says "Nothing is more expensive then a missed opportunity." And I whole heartedly believe that. I'm not the type of person that expects greatness out of thin air. I'm here to do the work.
