Hello!

I am currently enrolled at Paul Mitchell The School in Rexburg, Idaho. I have attended school for 11 months now, which places me to graduate in October, 2024. In school, I am growing immensely! I have throughly enjoyed stretching my skill set and comfort zone everyday. Seeing my progress through consistency (as frusting as it can be) brings much meaning to my life!!! I have enjoyed makeup applications and hairstyling for most event types. (Particularly bridal, editorial with an emphasize on the 1920's-1940's, and date night out.) All of which were my main reasons for joining school. In my program, I've had the opportunity to study under the great Debra Dietrich herself, to develope a skill in makeup application using an airbrush system. It has been such a game changer. A lot of my inspiration stems from editorial shoots in the early to mid 1900's. I also find that I am drawn in and enlightened by the fine arts, something that I plan to feed, by using makeup as a medium. Outside of school, one of my plans is to create a fantasy/fine arts, stylized photography business, with another cosmetologist, and an apparel designer. A quick note of my background; my hometown is Buckeye, Arizona. I currently reside in Rexburg, Idaho; a very lovely state by the way. I've been married to my brilliant husband, Aaron, for almost 3 years now, and we aim to push each other to become our best selves this year. I strive to stretch my knowledge and perspective of the beauty industry and to better sculpt myself as a well rounded, and highly skilled artist. This year will be fantastic, and Beacon 2024 is a one of a kind opportunity; one that I fear is just too good to miss. I wish all a brilliant and productive year.
