About me
My name is Haven Schooley, and I am currently a cosmetology student at PCI Academy. I'm originally from a small town called Bloomfield, Iowa. After graduating high school in 2023, I attended Iowa State University for a year, where I majored in Design. During that time, I realized my true passion was in a different creative field—cosmetology. I've always had an interest in hair, inspired by both of my grandmothers who were hairstylists. Being in cosmetology school has given me the opportunity to apply my creativity and design background to hair color and styling, and I’m excited to continue growing in this industry.

I am attending cosmetology school because I have a passion for beauty and creativity, and I’ve always been drawn to the way hair can transform a person’s confidence and self-expression. Becoming a hairstylist allows me to combine my artistic skills with my desire to help others feel their best. I enjoy working with people, building connections, and staying on top of trends in hair and fashion. Cosmetology school is giving me the foundation I need to turn my passion into a professional career, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and eventually making a positive impact through my work in the beauty industry.
