About me
My name is Hayley Ortwein and I would love to be your skincare specialist. I am from Oklahoma, and graduated from Jenks High School. I have a passion for history, demonstrated by my TEDx talk over research I conducted on student comprehension levels in history classes. My public speaking from TED and years of high school and colliegente debate at the University of Kansas equipped me with excellent communication and teaching. I believe the history of skin care and makeup is just as important in our industry as the history we have come to know. Understanding the past is key to unlocking the future.

Why I'm here
At a young age I was plagued with extreme cystic acne. I struggled with self confidence for years as a result - which influenced my passion for skincare. I would spend hours researching different products and treatments, which pushed me to enter a career in the beauty industry. I am passionate about enabling others with the confidence in their skin, that I worked for years to achieve. Making someone feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin is my number one goal.
