Hi! My name is Whitney and I’m a passionate and dedicated cosmetology student currently training to become a licensed professional in the beauty industry. I’m pursuing my education with a strong focus on healthy hair care, protective styling, and helping every client feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
With hands on experience in braiding, scalp care, and natural hair maintenance, I am building a strong foundation in both theory and technique. My goal is to master a range of services while also learning how to educate clients on maintaining their hair between appointments.
I’m especially inspired by the transformation that comes with self care and love helping people express their personality through their style. As I continue my journey in cosmetology, I’m committed to growing my skills, staying on top of industry trends, and always delivering my best work with professionalism and heart.

Why I'm here
I chose to pursue cosmetology because I believe beauty is more than what we see it’s how we feel. Growing up, I saw how powerful it was when someone sat in a chair and left feeling like the best version of themselves. That feeling of transformation, confidence, and care is what drew me to this industry.
I’m here because I have a deep passion for hairespecially natural and protective styling and a purpose to help others love and understand their hair, no matter the texture. I want to bridge the gap for those who have struggled with hair care, especially moms of multicultural children and women learning to embrace their natural beauty.
Through my training and hands on experience, I’m building the skills, discipline, and knowledge needed to become not just a stylist, but an educator, an encourager, and a trusted professional in my community.
Cosmetology isn’t just a career path for me it’s a calling. I’m here to grow, to serve, and to build something that lasts beyond the chair.
