My name is Helena!
I am passionate about spending time outdoors, reading just about anything (ask me about my book club!), spending time with my partner, my family and my friends, listening to music and attending live shows, and uplifting the queer community,
I love a good information dump, feel free to tell me all about your latest hyperfixation - whether it's the TV show you can't stop thiking about or a hobby that has captured your attention I am all ears.
I have a background of almost a decade in healthcare that has taught me the invaluable skills of taking care of people and making them feel good in their own skin. It is a skill I am excited and able to bring to the table
In my free time, you are likely to find me curled up with my partner and my cat watching Twin Peaks, working on some beaded embroidery, or doing whatever I can to be outside. Gotta soak up the sun. Sheryl Crow style.

Why I'm here
I am here to provide an affirming service for any person who sits in my chair. I have a personal philosophy that gender affirming care is for people of ALL genders and sexualities, whether they be transgender or cisgender. I know the importance of intersectionality, and for me this also includes education on all hair types. I know that hair plays a huge role in how we feel about ourselves and how the world outside is percieving us, and I'm here to help!
I am neurodiverse and I value acknowledging all people's boundaries and comfort. I also understand the importance of silent/quiet communication, and I am happy to provide every client with a variety of options regarding verbal and non verbal communication during their appoinment.
