Helix Salon is a curl-centric, nerdy, and inclusive hair salon located in downtown Seattle. Founded by master stylist and curly girl Sam Ploetz, Helix was born from a desire to create a welcoming, feminist space for all genders, curl types, and identities. Specializing in DevaCurl dry haircutting, precision cuts, transformative color, and dreadlock extensions, our stylists work with your hair's unique texture and your lifestyle to craft personalized looks. Our private, cozy storefront offers a relaxing escape from the everyday. As a queer-friendly, body-positive space, we celebrate every client's personal resplendence. We are also a mask-friendly salon, prioritizing the health and safety of our clients and staff.
