Ever since I was little,I was drawn to doing hair, makeup and nails. I would watch my mom do her hair and makeup or when watching the nail techs do my mom´s nails when she went to the nail salon because I thought it was so interesting how good someone can feel after doing themselves up. Then in middle school my friend introduced me to makeup and I fell in love with it. I decided that I wanted everything to do with Cosmetology. I wanted to be the person that people come to to make them feel good about themselves.  I looked up schools for cosmetology, but one school I just had to go to was Paul Mitchell The School St. Louis. I toured Paul Mitchell when I was a freshman in high school. I knew that was the school for me. I knew that I was going to be a cosmetologist and own my own salon someday.  I have never had any doubts on what I wanted to with my life. I had full support from my friends and family, but I have some people question my choices to be a cosmetologist. They say I will not make enough money or that I should go to college instead. The people who doubt me inspire me to work harder to prove myself and what droves me to the person I am today.
