My name is Imani Parker! I'm 27 years old and currently a cosmetology student at Paul Mitchell The School - Pasadena. I'm not a Los Angeles native, I relocated here from New Orleans, LA in January 2021. I'm highly ambitious and a self-certified DIY gawdess. Into all things beauty, always willing to work, always willing to learn.

Why I'm here
Beauty has always been a passion of mine, literally for as long as I could remember. I loved makeup, nails and hair growing up, but coming from a financially disadvantaged background, I wasn't able to get into beauty the way I wanted to. Instead of using that as an opportunity to sit and be frustrated, I just told myself that I'll learn how to do it MYSELF. That way I can always make myself and those around me feel and be beautiful, no more the hardships that we face. Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves and the way they look. Beauty is a right, not a privilege.
