Isabel Cary

Hello my name is Isabel Cary I go by Izzie. I was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan a small city you might know as the birthplace of your favorite cereals. Living there shaped my sense of Community and resilience, it was a fun, Unique experience that fueled my creativity. Also I'm the middle child of eight kids five brothers and two sisters. Growing up in such a big family taught me valuable lessons in independence, leadership, and teamwork. My two older brothers, Caleb and Andrew, and I are each just a year apart, so we've always been extremely close. Its not just my immediate family thats big my exteneded family is quite large! With over 60 first cousins an acountless number of aunts and unlces, family gatherings were always lively and full of energy. among all the dynamics of such a large family, I've always felt like I stood out in one way, I've had a passion for creating since I was little. Whether it was organizing plays for my siblings and cousins, setting up dance competitions, or taking clothes and turning them into outfits inspired by my favorite shows, I was always up to something creative. I spent hours styling my cousins hair, pretending we were running our own salon. My love for creativity is something that's always been with me, an I owe a lot of it to my mom. She instilled in me the importance of thinking outside the box and making my ideas come to life. That mindset is what drives me now, I'm so excited to bring that same creativity, confidence, and passion to the Community around me.
