Ars longa, vita brevis

Hi friend! My name is Isa and I'm an aquarius, dog mom, cut preferential hair artist located in South Florida. I graduated from Aveda and began working, and of course continued learning, immediatley after. Education is the primary reason I got into the industry, I wanted something I would never feel stuck or get bored with and man did I find it! I love what I do and am endlessly happy and proud to call myself a craft stylist! I'm always looking for my next opportunity or next skill to learn in and outside of work, which of course landed me here. I'm an ambitious, hungry person with big dreams and the determination to get there! That is, of course, as long as my dog doesn't need a walk first.

I'm here to find one of two things: a gender neutral, alternative shop to learn and grow with or some form of editorial work to help me learn the ropes of that side of the industry. My ultimate goal is to work on a creative team for an alternative magazine, so any doors I can step through to make that happen are always one's I'll look at!
As a curly head myself, I love working on curly hair! I've offered dedicated curly education to clients that were lost on the care for their texture and curl pattern, I know how difficult it can be to create a routine that works for you and your lifestyle! I am cut preferential, so a majority of my work is based on creating custom cuts and styling techniques that both suit and work for the person in my chair. Everybody deserves to love themselves and hair plays such an important role in how we view, treat, and love not only our minds but our bodies.
