Confidence Starts in the Chair

I'm a barbering student at Paul Mitchell The School Austin with a passion for gender-affirming services, textured hair, modern barbering, color, and helping people find a style that feels authentic to who they are.
I believe a haircut is more than maintenance. It's confidence, self-expression, and sometimes even a fresh start. My goal is to create a welcoming experience where every client feels seen, respected, and comfortable in my chair.
Right now I'm documenting my journey from student to licensed barber while bulding the skills to serve people of all identities, hair types, textures, and styles.
For most of my life, hair has represented identity, confidence, and self-expression. As a QTPOC, I understand firsthand how powerful it can be when a haircut helps you feel more like yourself.
I'm here because I want to build a career that combines creativity, connection, and service. Whether someone wants a fade, long layers, vivid color, textured styling, or a gender-affirming transformation, I want every person who sits in my chair to leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.
This journey isn't just about learning to cut hair. It's about creating a space where people can show up exactly as they are.
