About me
Hello there! I am currently a cosmetology student at Paul Mitchell. My goal is to better my craft and deliver a quality beauty service and build a loyal clientele. I want my clients to feel comfortable and enjoy their time getting pampered. My short term goal is to learn more and experience new techniques to find what works for me. A long term goal of mine is to move downtown and work in the city and make all my clients feel confident.

Why I'm here
I had originally went for college for three years and felt like I wasn't passionate on what I was studying for. On the summer of 2024, I still had not signed up for my fall classes at my college and I made a split decision to set up a tour at the Paul Mitchell School. I had messaged them a few times throughout the prior year but never felt the courage to change my course and let go of the years of schooling I had. I came to the realization that I didn't need to feel ashamed of dropping out and striving toward my dreams. On that same day I went on that tour, I registered for the upcoming class start day and attended my first day of cosmetolegy school the following week. It felt like a spur of the moment decision but I have not felt happier and I finally found my passion as a future professional.
Additional Information
When I reach my 1200 hours in July, I'll begin an internship at Lisa Thomas Salon in Orland Park.
