Founded by Jaclyn, who has worn dreadlocks since 2009 and has been crafting and maintaining dreads for clients since 2010, the Den opened its doors in 2018 as a dedicated, intimate space for dreadlock care. Jaclyn uses only natural, cruelty-free products and never uses wax. Her signature approach combines backcombing, rip and twist, and crochet methods to create mature-looking, low-maintenance dreads from the start. Above all, Jaclyn prioritizes scalp health to foster strong, beautiful dreadlocks that stand the test of time.
