Hi! My name is Jada Tate and I am a 21 year old cosmetology student at THE Aveda Arts and Science Institute in Baton Rouge, La. Lately I’ve felt the need to challenge myself more than normal because I feel I don’t show my best in what I do when I know I can be phenomenal. I don’t give myself the proper recognition and acknowledgment I should and I don’t want to be my own downfall. Cosmetology school is bringing me out of my “comfortable” shell and is making me uncomfortable in the right way. It’s also allowing me to show my own self what I’m capable of! I will become the best version of me!!

I am here to show MYSELF what I’m capable of and that I am somebody I can be proud of! I often feel I speak about doing a lot of things and not actually taking the necessary steps to get there but that stops here TODAY! I will conquer things I felt once would be impossible to complete.
