My name is Jadyn Sunders, currently studying at Elaine Stering institute as a cosmetology student. I was born in Tampa, Florida but raised in metro-Atlanta. My love for cosmetology first started when I was young. A family friend worked in administration at a cosmetology school and I always loved visiting the classes and learning about hair through the students. Growing up, I continued building my skills but never considered turning it into a career till after I graduated college. I would always do close friends and family hair in my free time to try different styles. They encouraged me to pursue cosmetology school and after researching I discovered Elaine Sterling Institute would be the best fit for me. Learning about color has been my favorite course thus far in my journey. When i graduate, I aspire to be a stylist that specializes in color and cut. I would like to start off in a salon to grow my experience and client. Eventually I would love to open my own salo. I would like for my salon to be full service and located in Atlanta, Georgia. To ensure that I reach the goals I have set for myself I will continue to stay disiplined in school, continue to learn new technique, and further my education after graduation. As of now I have learned several styling techniques, how to maintain healthy hair, and grow good relationships with clients etc. I look forward to the journey I have ahead as I proceed with my education.
