I was born and bred in the booming city of Houston, Texas. I am a young freelance artist, proudly continuing my family's legacy in cosmetology and entrepreneurship.
At the age of twelve, I taught myself how to braid and developed a passion for hair. Over the span of ten years, I have made textured/protective styles my specialty. While in college, I made it a point to elevate my brand and craft by utilizing more promotional and marketing tools. I created a consistent posting schedule, got active within my community, and hired a professional to create my logo. These tools boosted my following, and clientele, and encouraged me to tour cosmetology schools. After touring and weighing my options, I decided to attend the Aveda Institute in Houston to expand my career path and become a more well-rounded stylist.
Before serving clients, I was heavily involved in the arts. I began my theatrical journey at a very young age, by becoming an honorary thespian at the age of fourteen. From then until now, I have received many awards, worked on and behind the stage, and been involved in numerous film productions. I have also worked in roles including production assistant, hair stylist, and backup dancer. This has led me to direct and produce my own creative projects.
My goal is to continue to create behind the scenes and learn more about creating avant-garde styles for photoshoots and other editorial projects. Being detail-oriented, driven, and disciplined, I believe my diverse background and skill set would make me an excellent addition to any team. My 5 year plan is to engage in more interviews, shadow great stylists such as Agnes Ashi, Shaylin Jones, and many others; in hopes of also becoming legendary.

I am here to leave a proud legacy for myself and my family. One that's not confined to one thing. I am here to grow exceptionally and build upon my knowledge of editorial work and all things behind the scenes. I want to change lives and emphasize the greatness I see in others, and for people to one day remember me as the woman who always knew she could, so she did!
