Jamal Sherman

Hi! My name isHi! My name is Jamal Sherman, better known as Sherm Stay Cuttin. After picking up the clippers as a young 19 year old to help a friend, I had no clue that 16 years later barbering would be my life. Receiving countless bad haircuts as a child gave me the passion to do my best to make sure as few people as possible would ever have to feel that pain. I didnt actually get my license until years after I actually picked up the clippers because I was in school to be an engnieer. After recieving my degree I worked as a substitute teacher and various other jobs until 2015 when I decided to finally follow my heart and enroll in barber school. Since then, the beauty and hair industry has been amazing to me! Ive competed in and won numerous barber battles, I ve worked as a platform artist for a company at the Bronner Brother's Hair Show in 2017, and most recently i was selected as a team barber for the NCAA National Champions University of Georgia Bulldogs in 2022.
