Janae Gamble, professionally known as J. Nicole, discovered her passion for hair at just ten years old, turning personal adversity into a thriving career. After facing bullying over her hair, she took matters into her own hands—mastering braiding and quickly gaining a dedicated clientele. This early talent set the foundation for a remarkable journey in the beauty industry.

J. Nicole honed her skills at West Valley College and G Skin Beauty Institute before specializing in extensions at The Weave Scene and Canyon Falls. She later transitioned into private salon suites and, within two years, launched So Amazing Spa and Salon—a space dedicated to beauty, self-care, and confidence. Her commitment to excellence led her to further her education in barbering, expanding her expertise across the industry.

Beyond styling, J. Nicole is a passionate educator and philanthropist. She founded So Amazing Kids, a nonprofit supporting foster youth through the “Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good” initiative, which provides hair care, mentorship, and braiding classes. Her expertise has been recognized in My Vegas Magazine, Hype Hair, and Beauty, and she has developed an all-natural hair growth oil MAZ by J.Nicole that promotes healthy, flourishing hair.
