Janelle Smith

I am Janelle Smith, a diligent, versatile and dynamic individual with a passion for the beauty and skin care industry. I am particularly fond of makeup artistry and embarked on my entrepreneurial journey as a makeup artist in 2017 for what is now “JA Makeup Artistry”. This venture has helped not only me but all women of color feel both beautiful and confident in their own skin. My educational background is just as diverse as my skill set. In 2019, I received my associates degree in accounting with a major in entrepreneurship from the University College of the Cayman Islands. This unique combination of disciplines sets me apart and allows me to approach makeup artistry and skin care with a innovative perspective, as I understand both the business & accounting side of my job. In 2024, I achieved yet another significant milestone in my career as I began the “Elaine Sterling Institute” to obtain my esthetician license. Knowing this advanced knowledge in skincare science has helped me elevate my makeup artistry as a whole. I am now both a professional makeup artist and a licensed esthetician, specializing in hydrafacials, waxing, massage treatments and advanced facials.
