I've always known that I'd be a part of the creative industry since I was young, -specifically in hair and makeup. Little did I know, that upon entering the beauty industry, how limitless the oppurtunites were. I have such a passion for the industry, and after working in almost every corner of it, I still want to explore eveyrthing that I havent yet explored. I'm professionally licensed as a Cosmetologist, but also hold makeup, lash extension, and microblading certifications. I've experienced as much as I could within the confines of the eastcoast. From NYFW, to working for MAC cosmetics, to residencies within corporate and private salons/babershops, until I decided to become fully independent in 2015. I've since continued to run a bridal company, a private studio, and now I am here on the west coast looking to do the same and more!
I've worked independently since 2015. While it has been glorious making my own schedule, selecting my own clients, and living the life of an entrepreneur, there are some things that just don't come with the territory. Opportunity for advancement in the creative field tends to be one of those things. As business owners, we get so engulfed in "operations", that we often times lose sight of our creative pursuits. As mentioned in my "About Me" section, I always knew that I wanted to pursue my passion for creativity. Now that I am here ont he west coast, removed from all tat has been familiar, its allowing me the opportunity to chase such creative endeavors, and I plan to do exactly that :]
