About me
Hello! My name is Jasmine Carretero! I am Paul Mitchell Graduate in Chicago, and here is a little bit about me ! :)
Hair is my canvas, and I get a kick out of bringing it to life and making people feel like the stars they are. From cuts to color and styling, I've done it all in school, which has made me realize that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. As a youngster, getting creative and doing hair was always my passion, but it wasn't until COVID-19 hit that I realized this could be a career path. During quarantine, I had a blast experimenting with my own locks, trying out a rainbow of bold shades. I fell head over heels for the beauty industry and all the opportunities it has to offer. When I'm not making magic happen with hair, you'll find me watching shows that inspire me or lifting weights to keep my energy high.

I'm here because beauty is my jam and I'm obsessed with all the creative ways it lets me express myself. I've been dreaming of this gig since I was 14 and after high school, I dove right into beauty school to learn the ins and outs of the craft loaded with techniques, so bring on the fun! I'm all about new ventures, so let's see where this beauty journey takes me! :)
