When I was growing up I struggled a lot with my appearance and trying to feel beautiful, as we know this feeling is not a good one. I was bullied frequently making me hide in my own bubble. Sixth grade then came around and I was so discouraged with everything it ended with me getting retained that year. As summer passed I was so mortified and felt ashamed of myself. Then I had an epiphany and decided that no one next year would know me. I took this as an opportunity to reinvent myself starting with my confidence then my appearance. This began with me experimenting with makeup and hairstyles. After summer I started to feel beautiful in my own skin, a feeling I have not experienced before. People at school started to recognize my looks and asked me for tutorials on how to do hairstyles and so forth. I loved sharing with others the things I have learned and this carried all through high school. I started to realize I was not alone growing up; others felt the same as me, not comfortable in their skin. So my goal in this industry is not being the fastest at foiling or becoming famous on social media but to make people who have felt like me feel the most beautiful they have ever felt and maintain that feeling in between their appointments with me.
