About me
I am 18 years old and I'm from a small town in Iowa where I grew up in the country with my three siblings and my parents! We have several animals and live on the farm. I played several sports in high school and showed cows as well. My favortie times in my life so far is whenever I am with my family and friends because that is when I'm the happiest! I just graduated high school in May of 2024 and now I am living in Iowa City and attend the PCI here! I am attending PCI to become a licensed cosmetologist to one day reach my goal of owning my own alone along with my cousin Olivia. We have had this goal for several years and are both working to make it happen! We want to open it near our home town so we can continue to use our gifts and talents on others and especially on those who we live back at home! Going to PCI is just one step in my long journey of being a cosmetologist!

Why I'm here
I am here because I have wanted to be a licensed cosmetologist for as long as I can remembe! I love doing hair and I always have, I love the feeling it gives me to be able to use my talents to help someone feel more confident in their skin through whatever I may do to their hair! Whether it be school dance hair, wedding hair, hair for sporting events, etc. I always find myself doing those and I always enjoy it! My friends and family always ask me to do my hair because they know that I love doing it! I want to learn everything that I can about the cosmetology indusrty to help be the best hairstylist that I can to my ability. I find so much joy using my talents on others hair to help them feel their best, it's a small way that I can share my gifts to others! Attending PCI will help me to reach my dream of becoming a licensed cosmetologist and everything else with that!
