My passion for skincare started when I was a young girl always watching my mom take such good care of her skin. During my teenage years I went from having perfect skin to suddenly having major breakouts. I became so uncomfortable in my own skin and was trying anything and everything to get rid of it, but instead of helping and treating it I ended up making it worse. After a few years I finally got it under control but that was when I realized that knowledge is KEY to ensuring your skin is healthy and balanced. I began working in retail for cosmetic department, where I was fascinated with anything beauty but mostly skin care. I was hosting spa events for my counter and quickly wanted to learn more. I decided to book a tour to see what the curriculum looked like and as soon as I toured Penrose I just knew I had to join their esthetics program. I am hoping to make women and men love and be comfortable in their skin again!
