Jen Martinelli

My name is Jen Martinelli, and my purpose is to give people a voice and a place where they truly belong. 

Born to young parents, I was raised by my grandmother, who didn’t speak English. I vividly remember watching her get dismissed time and time again simply because her words were broken. In those moments, I felt invisible too—unheard, unseen, and out of place. That experience shaped me. It ignited my passion for creating spaces where people feel valued, empowered, and understood. 

That drive led me to build and lead high-performing teams as the head of Marketing & Education at a top beauty tech company. I cultivated environments where people thrived, and during my time there, we grew from a 20-person startup to hundreds of employees earning multiple industry awards along the way. 

But I wanted to do more. I left to co-found Beautista, a platform designed to give beauty students and professionals a voice—so they never feel dismissed, overlooked, or out of place. Today, Beautista empowers 80,000+ members and partners with the biggest brands in beauty to create opportunities, build community, and transform careers. 

At my core, I believe in personal growth, empowerment, accountability, and belonging. I live by the mantra:
