About me
Hello there! My name is Jen! I have been in the hair/ beauty industry going on 8 years now. After attending nursing school, I decided to pursue my lifelong dream career and attended Alexander Paul Institution of Hair Design (winners of Modern Salon Excellence in Education and AACS Golden School Awards) graduating at the top of my class in early 2016. After graduation I went straight to work in the number one salon 12 years in a row in the Raleigh North Carolina area before opening my own salon in 2019 where I specialized in blonding, fashion colors and bridal. I now call Color Geek Salon my salon home in Savannah GA.
I am Pravana Balayage Certified, The Original Brazilian Blowout Certified, Olaplex Certified, Keratin Complex Certified, as well as trained on Wella, Pravana, Kenra, Redken, Trionics, Joico, JKS, and Pulp Riot color lines. I am also well versed in razor cutting, Sexy Hair, and Deva Curl cutting techniques. My work has been featured in a few magazines (Cary Magazine and Wake Living Magazine) as well as campaigns for Advanced Auto Parts,
In my free time you can find me out exploring Savannah GA, trying out all the best food joints, looking for my next antique treasure, or at home gaming, painting/drawing, reading or just snuggling my two furbabies, Daryl and Salem.

I joined Canvas ME to seek opportunities to join color education teams to share my love of color and spread my creative wings! I have always loved to teach and share my knowledge and look forward to working with the best of the best to educate and inspire my fellow artists!
