About me
Hello sunshine! My name is Jessica, I'm 27 years old and I was born in beautiful Bogota, Colombia. I moved to the states when I was about 2 years old because my mom wanted my sister and I to have better opportunities for our futures than we would in Colombia. I grew up in sunny San Diego and the Air Force brought me to the famous PNW. I have been here for 5 years and yes I am still adjusting to the weather, but am forever amazed by the scenery. After being in a male dominated career for 5 years that left little room for self expression, I wanted to jump out of what became my comfort zone and try something new. I am looking forward to where this new journey will take me.

Why I'm here
My main focus was esthetics but to really push my limits and creativity I decided to give cosmetology a shot first. I've thoroughly enjoyed all the hands on work and the extensive amount of knowledge there is in this industry. I've experienced self doubt and never feeling good enough about myself throughout my whole life, so I love that I now have the opportunity and the skills to remind everyone and help them see that they truly are beautiful inside and out. It has been a bonus getting to see clients leave my chair over the moon about their hair and discover their knew found confidence. I cannot wait to grow in this industry.
