About me
My name is Jessica Wilburn, and I started night classes at Paul Mitchell The School, Roanoke in Febuary of 2022 after deciding to leave my long standing banking career to pursue my true passion. I enjoy color correction, cutting of both long and short cuts, and vivid color application. My ideal salon would be a team environment with clear expectations that is goal oriented with growth opportunities through continued education.

Why I'm here
Learning is exciting to me, and I am most motivated when I have the opportunity to break out of the box to create and design from vision. There is so much talent in this field, and so much experience from all walks, all subfields within the cosmetology world, that there is always something to learn from every professional you encounter to add to your spectrum of knowledge. There are also so many ways to give back to the next generation of stylists which appeals to my coaching background in bank management. I want my children to know that you can be as successful as you choose to be, and cosmetology is the perfect venue to make your own success.
