I am an aspiring esthetician from Columbus Ohio. I worked in the healthcare field as a medical assistant for approximately 8 years . I took a lot of pride and joy caring for patients but I became burned out pretty fast. I lost my passion and wasn't happy at all. It literally became just a job to me which is not what I wanted in life. Growing up I always enjoyed doing makeup, skin care and the whole idea of the beauty industry. After high school I wasn't sure which way to go with my careeer but I wanted to start somewhere. I felt pressured to join healthcare because that's the field my mother worked in so I thought why not? After coming to the realization that I wasn't happy in life or with my job, I just needed a change. I've always had dreams of joining the beauty industry . I took a leap of faith by quitting the healthcare and enrolling full time at aveda institute. Now that I've found my passion I want to share it with the world !
