About me
I love the LORD, I am happily married to my husband of 23 years. Luckiest mom to three wonderful children ages 27, 24, 17. I am a YAYA to three gorgeous grandbabies, they are the light of my LIFE! My passion is PEOPLE and I love being a mom to all the young women that have always seemed to cross my life's path. I always go for the underdog, they seem to find me and I love them. I am a mentor for victim's of sex trafficing. I have spent a lot of time in TEXAS working in women's shelters - advocating for them. It is this meaningful work that brings the best purpose and JOY into my life.
As for hobbies, I am enjoying beauty school and learnig to be a stylist. I love to paint abstract, I want to write a book some day on our off grid life in Colorado - it was fascinating, my other hobbies are making cookies, hiking, exploring and adventuring with my family. I also LOVE to travel.
In my early career I excelled in CORPORATE sales, I was regional manager for FUJI Film - managing over 150 people. I enjoyed being in a team environment and helping others succeed and be leaers. When our family was young and growing I decided there was no work more imporatant at that time in my life than to be fully devoted to raising my family and not missing a single moment of that joyous journey, this is without any doubt my life's BEST work.
I flirted with getting my professional life back - off and on but the timing was not mine - it was all about my family. I knew one day I would be able to chase a NEW dream and show my older kids that it is NEVER to late to pursue a new purpose and keep your ever changing life RICH with exciting opportunities.
My greatest passion is in being a wife, mother, YAYA and friend, I have always filled my own cup by the JOY of serving others. As we approach being empty nesters there is no better time in my life to do BEAUTY than NOW - it is time do ME!

Why I'm here
I have ALWAYS had a heart for beauty. It takes courage as we age to embrace change and find new opportunities that are looking for us! We have to be diligent in seeking growth. I don't believe in boxing ourselves into this life based off of our age. We are never too old to learn something new! Once I let go of my AGE - I decided this was EXACTLY what I wanted to be doing as my 3rd career. BEAUTY !
The only way the parachute can open is if we JUMP into this life- so I JUMPED! I walked into Paul MItchell like HELLO! Nevermind my age, TEXAS knows beauty and I belong here too! I have truly LOVED every minute of this experience. I bring a ZEST for life, a ZING to whatever it is I am doing. I also bring my SMILE and a lot of encouraging bravery too!
Already, I am enjoying the art of SERVING those in my chair and learnig about HAIR, DESIGN, COLOR and more! Listening, engaging and making clients feel SEEN is the most rewarding feeling. I also tremendously just ENJOY doing HAIR and being part of a team, I always have. I am here because I really want to be here, I desire to keep myself challeneged and progressing my knowledge in all things BEAUTY.
I have a passion for womanhood & being a part of something bigger than myself, I love to continually grow. I am here for the JOY of creativity, and meeting clients needs. I will always have a heart for serving others, in this case serving my team and the clients in my chair to the best of my abilities each and every day.
