Hello my name is Johana'e also known as Jo. A little about myself, I am from Chicago IL, where I grew to fall in love with hair, I can still smell the pressing comb heat coming from my grandmothers kitchen. I'm not sure about others background but I knew what a hot stove was by experience ,as a little girl when my mother would politely ask me not to touch the hot stove for her marcel iron. I just had to see for myself, and of course ,I learned my lesson. But, the infatuation with how she would be able to twirl the marcel iron in her fingers and creating unique abstract styles would forever live in my heart.
