About me
Hello! My name Is Jordan Abrams and I am 22 years old. I am originally from Fort Myers, Florida and relocated to Lexington, Kentucky in 2010! Although I sometimes miss my hometown, I remember the southern hospitality here and how I am treated with kindness everyday in Kentucky! I go to school at Summit Salon Academy where I am furthering my education as a future Esthetician. When I am not at school learning, I am working as a dog walker! I have been around animals since I was born and have found a love for them. Dog walking is essential for me as it's a way of relaxation and a way to reset after a hard day.

Why I'm here
The reason I chose to start my path as an Esthetician is because I found this area of practice very interesting! When i first graduated high school, I went straight to college and had no idea what I wanted to do. This caused me to not do very well in my classes as I couldn't see myself doing any of the majors that were listed. I thought something was wrong with me as i continued to go to college for an additional 3 years and still felt the same. It wasn't till 2023 that one of my close friends mentioned esthetics! I immediately started to research and finally found something i felt like i could see myself doing for a long time. I am very much a hands on learner so having a career where i am constantly using my hands excites me! I am eager to keep learning more about what it means to be an Esthetician and what i can do to ensure happiness in results with my clients.
