Josephine Charbarneau

My name is Josephine. I am a 28-year-old mother when I began my education in cosmetology school in January 2022. Becoming a mother pushed me to pursue an education I have always wanted. I wanted to create a better life for myself and my son.

I’ve always loved getting my hair cut and colored (I could never stick to one look), but I didn’t want to keep spending money at salons. My education allowed me to better my skills on my own hair, as well as learn how to make a difference in the hair care routines of others. One of my favorite parts of my education at Penrose Academy was falling in love with the process of doing full colors and color re-touches.
