Josie's Chair - not a style; it's a standard

Hi, I’m Josie Parsons—a cosmetology student based in Phoenix, Arizona, currently studying at Penrose Academy and set to graduate in the summer of 2025. I’m passionate about the art of beauty and self-expression, and I’m excited to build a career where I can help others feel confident and empowered through hair and beauty services.
When I’m not in school, I work as a server, where I enjoy connecting with people and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Outside of work and school, I love exploring new coffee shops, traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends.
As I continue my journey in the cosmetology industry, I’m eager to keep learning, growing, and creating. I look forward to bringing creativity, care, and professionalism to every client I work with.

From a young age, I've always had a deep appreciation for the art of transformation. Whether is experimenting with different styles on my own hair or watching how a simple haircut could boost someone's confidence, I was fascinated by the power of hairstyling. Over the years, I realized that my passion for beauty and creativity wasn't just a hobby--it was something I wanted to pursue professionally.
Studying cosmetolog, and specifically focusing on hair, feels like the perfect way to combine my love for creativity with my desire to help people feel their best. I've always been drawn to how a great hairstyle can make someone feel confident and empowered. For me, it's not just about the hair itself, but the experience and connnection with clients that makes the craft so fulfilling.
What solidified my decision to pursue this path was seeing how hairstylists could create not just a look, but an entire transformation--both inside and out. This realization pushed me to enroll in cosmetology school, and I'm excited to continue learning, growing, and honing my skills in a field that is always evolving. I'm passionate about using my talents to make people feel good about themselve, one haircut at a time.
