I'm at cosmetology school because I'm driven by a passion to empower others through beauty and self-care. This journey began unexpectedly when I was 16 - I started doing braids as a joke, but soon discovered a genuine love for the craft. As I continued to braid, I realized the impact it had on those around me - the confidence boost, the sense of community, and the joy of self-expression.
This spark ignited a desire to dive deeper into the world of cosmetology. I want to master various techniques, explore different cultures' beauty practices, and understand the science behind hair and skincare. By pursuing a career in cosmetology, I aim to refine my skills, expand my knowledge, and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
The Bahamas, my hometown, taught me the value of community and the power of beauty to bring people together. Now, I'm excited to combine these passions and create a career that's both fulfilling and purpose-driven.
