Hello and welcome! My name is Julie Knight and I own Cameo Hair & Beauty.
I thought it would be fun to reintroduce myself on the lunar new year! The year of the Fire Horse is all about swift movement forward and rapid change.🐎
To some that might seem scary, but to me it's about quickly removing all that no longer serves you and incorporating new methods that create positive momentum. 🌱

I wear many hats as an entrepreneur, HMUA (hair and make-up artist), actor, yogi and about a million other hobbies/activities.🤣
My favorite role though is being mom and wife to my beautiful family.
I met my husband in my mid 30s and had my daughter at 38, which I think worked out perfectly for us.👌

Having a background in acting and cosmetology, with a passion for color theory means I'm well versed in how to “present” yourself in a harmonious way. I want to help people feel comfortable in front of the lens. 📸🎥 More on that to come…😉

I have been working in the beauty industry or as I call it, the self care industry, over 15 years and it's the longest and only career that really feeds my soul. 💝
The art of hair and makeup is so much deeper than face value.
Adding my yoga training and spiritual practices, I really want to help people feel good on the outside and inside.🪞
My workspace will ALWAYS be a safe place.🫶

*Fun fact- The name Cameo came from my entrepreneur grandparents and my grandfather who served in WW2. Stationed in Italy, he brought back a few authentic cameos from his time there
