I came into the cosmetology program to learn about hair, skin, and nails and see if I find more interests like with color and hair but I love to do nails I find it really calming and fun for me and you can be really creative with them it's like art on your hands, since I was in middle school I would always want my nails done but never liked the way i got them done so I started practicing on myself for the longest time but i started to get better overtime and I would just do it for fun but then once I graduated high school I thought maybe I can make a career off of this. When school started and we were learning highlights I didn't really like doing them because I was to scared I didn't really feel confident in doing them but i've gotten to practice more on people and i'm starting to really like doing them, for my junior highlights I was soo happy with the results it made me feel good and proud, my model that I did it on really liked them too. Highlighting just seema fun now and i'm not so scared anymore i really enjoy it. I like doing blowdrys more but I'm trying to get to learn more about priducts and what's better for different hair texture so my blow outs stay in place and don't frizz up.
