About me
My passion for barbering started at 16 years old while I was still in high school, cutting hair for friends and family out of my garage. What started as a side hustle quickly turned into a career. I attended Metro Detroit Barber College and Paul Mitchell The School Michigan, where I received training in both barbering and cosmetology.
At just 19 years old, I opened Justin Jacob Salon and have continued to grow the business ever since. Today, at 24, I proudly own and operate the salon full-time, focusing on quality service, professionalism, and creating an exceptional experience for every client.
My goal has always been simple: to help people look and feel their best while continuously improving my craft and raising the standard of service in the industry. I take pride in the journey from cutting hair in a garage to building a successful salon, and I remain committed to delivering quality work and building lasting relationships with every client who sits in my chair.

I also love teaching and mentoring others in the industry. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach classes at Paul Mitchell, sharing my knowledge and experience with future beauty professionals. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, give back, and help elevate the next generation of talent.
