My name is Kalena Mckechnie, and I am a recent graduate of Paul Mitchell The School, where I earned both Skin Honors and Makeup Honors, along with maintaining a 93% attendance rate. I also graduated from Lakeshore High School. From a young age, I have been deeply passionate about art, with a strong interest in drawing, painting, and creative expression—interests that naturally led me to pursue a career in the beauty industry.
I come from a large, close-knit family and have six siblings, including four younger ones whom I have helped care for throughout my life. This has shaped my patience, responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills. I am also a dedicated animal lover and have experience helping care for rescued animals, which reflects my compassion and nurturing nature.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring new experiences. Currently, I work as a server, where I have developed strong customer service and communication skills. I am now seeking an opportunity within a spa environment where I can continue to grow professionally, expand my knowledge in esthetics, and provide high-quality service to clients.

I am a recent graduate of Paul Mitchell The School with a strong passion for esthetics, makeup artistry, and skincare. From a very young age, I developed a deep love for drawing, painting, and various forms of artwork, where I recognized my natural creativity and artistic talent. This foundation in art seamlessly evolved into a passion for makeup, where I began creating looks and filming tutorials, further strengthening my interest in the beauty industry.
Throughout high school at Lakeshore High School, I became a trusted resource among peers for makeup, lash, and brow services, which reinforced my decision to pursue esthetics professionally. After graduating, I enrolled in the esthetics program at Paul Mitchell, where I earned both Makeup Honors and Skin Honors—an achievement that reflects my dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
I am now seeking an opportunity within a spa where I can continue to grow, contribute my skills, and build meaningful relationships with clients. I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering quality service while continuing to expand my expertise in the beauty industry.
