About me
I'm 18 years old. Becoming a hairstylist wasn't something that I've always thought about doing but I haven't regretted coming since I've joined. Graduated from Madrid High school in Madrid, IA, a short little drive to Ames. In high school I was always the girl to style hair for sports or for dances and I loved it. I'm excited to learn more about lashes and facials. I love doing balayages and men's cut. For my future I'm looking and willing to move out of Iowa or somewhere in the U.S. to work and continue my education in the beauty industry.

Why I'm here
From a young age I realized I loved playing with hair, even though I grew up with all boys. While growing up and moving around sports always had a spot in my life and with sports came all of the cute hairstyles. I was the "hairstylist" of the team. While practicing and continuing trying new and different styles on all of my teammates teachers and mentors started telling me I should try out beauty school and see where that takes me. I took the jump and have enjoyed all of my time here at beauty school and so happy that I took the jump and have showed up everyday.
