About me
My name is Kannishia, but I go by Koko. I'm a 25-year-old cosmetology student originally from Detroit, Michigan, now residing in Baytown, Texas. I graduated from Cass Technical High School, where I focused on music, following in the footsteps of my family of singers and musicians. Growing up, I faced bullying and struggled with hereditarty bipoloar disorder, but those challenges have only fueled my dtermination to chase my dreams and break generational curses. Despite experiencing homelessness and living in my car before relocating to Texas, I've never stopped workign towards building the life I deserve. Today, I'm proud to be a published model, a role model to my 13-year-old sister--my greatest motivation-- and a testament to the resilience and strength that comes from overcoming adversity.

Why I'm here
I've been doing hair since I was 12 years old, and i taught myself makeup along the way, drivien by a deep desire to transform and empower. As a published model, I've come to understand the power of self-expression and confidence that beauty can bring. Growing up, I was bullied and struggled to see my own beauty, but that experience shaped my misson to help others recognize their worth. I believe beauty starts from within; when you feell beautiful, the world reflects it back to you. My goal is to use my skills to highlight the unique beauty in every individual, inspiring self-love and confidence through the art of hair and makeup.
