My name is Karen Duarte. I am a Future Professional at Paul Mitchell the School. I have attended the program for a little over a year, which my time here is now coming to an end. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me. I am outgoing, dedicated, and open-minded. I have found passion behind hair design and can't wait to pursue everything that comes with it.

I love the feeling of making others feel better about themselves, self confidence boosting. I have always been the one to get my friends and family ready for an event, so why not make a career out of it? I've always wanted to join the beauty industry since I was a child. For whatever reason life had drifted in different directions, whether I had the support or not, I finally made it.
