Karla Maiden-Vazquez

Hi, My Name Is Karla! 

I went to a private university and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. After, I found it hard to find a steady job while pursuing my passion for acting. Towards the end of the calendar year I decided to apply for a job at a cosmetology school and absolutely fell in love. I loved the environment, the curriculum, and the people. Of course, I always wanted to learn more about hair, especially curly hair since that is not only what I have but what the cosmetology world is lacking specialists in, but I never thought of pursuing it as a career. Now, I am pursuing my passion for hair in hopes to one day educate people on the many safe ways to style curly hair. I grew up in a single-parent home raised by my awesome mom and currently have four dogs. My favorite hobbies include singing, dancing, reading, creating content, and thrifting.
