  My love for beauty began at the age of 3, watching my grandmother apply nail polish to her long and beautiful nails. She would bring me into her bathroom, where she had this beautiful vanity, and she would open her little wooden drawers and apply blush and red lipstick. I admired her love of beauty and I always wanted to be beautiful like her. 

    Years went by, I started doing show choir, dance, and musicals where I would be the one to help everyone get ready with their hair, nails, and makeup. 

  My love for beauty continued into my adulthood, I helped friends and family with their hair and makeup for special events, I also helped with weddings aside a few licensed cosmetologists, but it wasn't until I had all four of my daughters that I really decided to put myself out there and create a facebook page called "KarlyKosmetics," where I started offering makeup and hairstyles for weddings and special events. I then started booking weddings and my small business grew larger then I had anticipated, thats when I decided it was time to take a chance, and goto beauty school!

  I am here to teach my four beautiful little girls, that ANYTHING is possible. I would have NEVER imagined my life where it is right now, had I not of taken the chance and pushed myself! I want my daughters to know that it doesn't matter what challenges I have had to face in my life, I am chasing my dreams, I am here to succeed, and if you want something in life, put your all into it and do it!
