Kate Litterer

I’m an international hairstylist, educator, and beauty industry consultant with 20 years of experience across luxury brand management, media, education, and hands-on artistry. My work spans high-profile fashion, television, and retail environments, where I bring a blend of creative expertise and business strategy to every project.

I’ve been part of special events styling teams for Project Runway, Project Runway All-Stars, Say Yes to the Dress America, and New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and have worked backstage on runway shows, editorial shoots, and VIP celebrity services for major fashion houses such as Armani and Tiffany's. These fast-paced, high-visibility experiences have shaped my adaptability, leadership, and deep understanding of beauty trends and execution.

Previously, I served as the Zone Beauty Manager for Dyson’s East Coast region, where I led a team of 22 stylists and supported major retail partners including Nordstrom, Sephora, Ulta, and Neiman Marcus. I also played a key role in the global launch of the Dyson Airwrap in New York City alongside James Dyson and Jen Atkin, overseeing in-store execution, merchandising strategy, and market expansion.

I’m a two time best selling author on Amazon for my ebook series Free Agent Hairstylist, a platform dedicated to helping stylists build their personal brands and business skills.

Currently, I own my own salon suite in Garwood New Jersey, Vibe Hair Suite, where I specialize in cutting, styling, bridal hair and makeup. This December I was featured in Vogue Italia.
