About me
i'm currently enrolled at the Aveda Institute located in Brandon Florida. I am a master student at the institute and excited to finish my education here. I am currently 20 years old and looking forward to a life in this industry. I am a first generation immigrant and i hope to make my parents proud because they gave up a lot for me to have the privilege of growing up in this country .

Why I'm here
In order to explain why I am here I need to explain how i got to where I am. I graduated high school in 2020 during the peak of covid-19 and dealing with serious anxiety about the world around me. i attempted to follow the traditional life route and went to Florida Gulf Coast University and attempted to be a normal college student, however i was miserable. i was stuck in a dorm room everyday and had no creative outlet, I was seriously struggling. To cope with my mental health i started taking more interest in how i looked and my overall style in doing so my friends noticed my increase interest in hair and makeup and started asking me to help them get ready for special events and i realized that i loved doing hair. A month later my aunt lost her battle to cancer which further pushed me away from what i was doing. I realized that life is to short to be doing something that I hate everyday so I decided to come home to my family and enroll in cosmetology school. since i have started school i feel as though i have truly found myself and continue to flourish everyday.
