“I create beauty—with my hands, my heart, and my resilience.”

I'm excited that youve stumbled across my page! My name is Katelyn but I usually go by Kate. I'm a future graduate from Aveda (Feb. 2026). I’m someone who believes life is meant to be lived boldly, whether that means chasing adventure, paddling across a quiet lake in my kayak, or starting over to pursue the dream I’ve always carried in my heart. I’m a mom, a wife, and an animal lover with three fur babies who keep life interesting. My family and friends mean the world to me, and they’ve been my biggest supporters through every chapter, especially this one.
Before stepping into cosmetology, I spent years as a bartender and general manager. Those experiences shaped my work ethic, my people skills, and my appreciation for connection; as well as my confidence. But at 30, I realized it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and go after the life you truly want—so that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m proud of where I’ve been, excited for where I’m going, and grateful for the love and adventure that fill the spaces in between

The beauty industry has always held a special place in my heart. What I love most about it is the way it allows me to help people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. There’s something therapeutic about the entire experience—whether it’s a fresh color, a new cut, a bridal style, or someone’s big prom day. Every client sits in my chair with their own story, their own hopes, and their own moment, and I feel honored to play even a small part in that.
To me, every single client is special, and every service is a chance to make someone’s day a little brighter. I believe this industry is full of endless opportunities for growth, creativity, and connection. There’s always something new to learn and someone new to meet, and that constant evolution is what keeps me inspired. I’m excited to keep perfecting my craft, continue building meaningful relationships, and connect with others who share the same passion and love for this work as I do
I am currently just picking up shifts for extra cash when I'm available to do so. I am not a full time employee here anymore.
