About me
Hello, I was a student at Aveda in Carmel, Indiana. I just started my journey in September 2021 and falling more in love with this industry everyday. I'm excited to start at a salon so I can begin working and learning more about hair. Some fun things about me is that I am from a small town called Portland Indiana, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and listening to music and reading in my free time. I would love to work at a salon that is willing to create a good learning environment for me!

Why I'm here
I am here at Aveda because after going to IUPUI for two years I realized that college is not the path for me. During the pandemic I was quickly realizing that the major I was in was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, so I decided that I needed to find something that I would love. Because of the pandemic I had a lot of free time and would spend hours doing my hair in trendy styles, or cutting both of my roommates hair. After expressing my interest my friends encouraged me to start cosmetology school.
